Sleeper

Here is Daniel taking a nap with his buddies. The blue bear at his head is usually somewhere on or under him when he sleeps. He hugs it and cuddles it and uses it as a pillow. He plays with his frog while he's going to sleep and when he wakes up.
Daniel is an excellent little alarm clock for us in the morning. He just chats and coos until we're ready to get up and give him breakfast.
He went down the slide at the park yesterday. It was very exciting so we kept going and going. I'd place him halfway up and then he'd slide down with the biggest smile.

7 Months

Work in the Yard

We had a nice time visiting with both families on Mother's Day.

Daniel tried to help grade the backyard, but he was too little. So he just supervised like his daddy.

Here's George getting the job done... well supervising Sean. The tree is now gone, all ready for a lawn.

Weekend Visitors

Aunt Nikki and Darian came up for a visit this weekend. It was so cute watching Darian and Daniel together. He looks so big next to her. It's a lot of fun having another kid Daniel's age in the family.

ATV

Kia threw Ryan a 30th birthday BBQ this weekend. Ryan was nice enough to share his birthday present with Daniel. It was just his size.

Food

Does he like it or not? It all depends on his mood. At the moment of this shot he likes it, but you can tell from the tears, he wasn't too happy a moment before. Actually, his second tooth came in this morning. But he's a trooper.

Backyard Sunshine

The sun has finally come out and we are enjoying it. Daniel loves being outside so we got him a little shade for the backyard. What you see here is all we have in our backyard still, but very soon, we'll be doing the landscaping.

We've missed BBQing and gardening since moving here and we're really looking forward to spending more time out here in our sunny backyard.
