Well, not dark, but we're going underground. It's only a matter of time before some classmates start finding these family blogs and dig up dirt on our school age children which will never be lived down. I mean, it could be the end of the world.
So here is the warning well in advanced. Soon our family blog will be password protected. If you are a faithful follower of our blog, and I know you, and you will not use the information herein to the detriment of our children's reputation, then I will be happy to email you the password. Crazy Boys
The boys were really cooperative for this little photo shoot idea. What was involved? Simply jumping and yelling as loud as they could. I wanted to get huge, crazy smiles. Sometimes these guys drive their mother a little nuts, with the constant noise and toys. But it's immensely fun and I wanted to create something to remind me to appreciate these moments. They will be gone before I know it. And their laughter and noise is so very precious. My friend, Shauna, told me about this quote she saw awhile ago and I've been wanting to use it. So here is the next canvas to go up on my walls.

Pumpkin Patch
Gavin had his first field trip. He went with his 3 year old preschool class to the pumpkin patch. He and Ethan hung out together the whole time as usual. Ethan also has an older sibling in first grade and Daniel and Vincent's school, so they play together every morning and afternoon as well as at their own school. Having buddies is awesome.
Vincent took his first school bus ride with his kindergarten class to the pumpkin patch. He said he sat next to Kyle who is now his buddy. It sounds like they stayed together the whole time. Vincent's field trip was the same day as Gavin's. I wish I could have been in two places at once, but alas, this is not possible. So Vincent enjoyed the day without me photographing every second of it.

Happy Birthday #7
We celebrated Daniel's 7th birthday with family over pizza. He was adamant about having all of his family come to his party.

Honey Voaches
Those two front teeth are getting pretty loose. This smile won't be the same much longer.
It's amazing how much I'm hearing about girls with crushes in the first grade.
Gavin's life goal is to become a famous dirt bike rider or a professional "skate board rider."
Walking to school, Vincent hops from square to square down the side walk. He tells me "I'm not stepping on the cracks cuz I don't want to hurt your back, mom."
This morning, Gavin came in my room, gave me a good morning hug then said "I want Honey Voaches." This is what he calls Honey Bunches of Oats. It took me several tries to get that at first. But it's just what that cereal has become known as.
