More Portraits

It took a couple attempts on a couple different days before I got these two shots. I wanted something to frame in my office. I'm very happy with the end result. Three black and whites in bright yellow frames. Each photo really captured Daniel, Vincent's and Gavin's personality.

I got some new stools so now all three boys can eat at the counter. Saturday morning pancakes and waffles were fun like this. I felt like a short order cook and got scolded for sitting on the counter.  But it was fun.

Lego gifts

Vincent made this little Lego creation for Gavin who was sick and taking a nap. Vincent could find no better place to put it for Gavin to find when he woke up than right here on Gavin's cheek. Because, of course, if he put in on his pillow, it would just fall off.

Tooth and hair loss

Our first grader is having a really hard time eating apples lately. 

Tonight I read the boys a story on Vincent's bed. Daniel and Gavin wanted to sit on his bed to see the pictures. Gavin was sad about not being able to sit next to me and without a word, Vincent got up and gave Gav his seat. He's such a sweet, thoughtful kid.

"Not more pictures!"

Gavin gives me lots and lots of kisses. He walks up and kisses my legs, or my back, or my hands, or my cheek. This makes my day, even on a really rough day. It's a priceless gift.
