Hulk Smash

 

The boys go in cartoon phases. They pick one cartoon and that's all they'll watch for months on end. Once a new cartoon series interests them, they switch, rarely to return to the previous series. For a long time it was Curious George, then Dinosaur Train, long before that it was VeggieTales, recently we were on a RescueBots kick and now it's Rescue Squad. Hulk Smash is Vincent's favorite.

Old Friends

I had a good time visiting with my old high school buddies. We all have birthdays coming up. I'd rather not think about birthdays anymore. 37 sounds really old. But I don't feel that old. I'd like to just stay mid-twenties for the remainder. Jaime and I were in the infants room together at church 37 years ago. We went to school together from kindergarten through high school. Cristin and Janis I've known since we were twelve. It is pretty cool having such a long history with these girls. I'm thankful for this.

Playing House

Next door, the kids all play together. Sometimes it's just like magic. Other times...not so much. This particular day, Maggie was pushing Daniel and Vincent in the double Graco stroller made for her dolls. If you look closely, you can see that DumDums are adding to the happy magic happening here on this day.
