smile

Daniel is now rolling from his back to his tummy too. Both ways. He's talking, smiling and getting fatter everyday.

Discovering Feet

Daniel has been looking at his hands and feet a bit today. He seems a little more interested in his feet so far. He moves his long toes like they're fingers.

I wish you could all hear him talking. It's such a beautiful sound. But this is what it looks like.

3 Months

Daniel is now 3 months old. This kid looks like he might be trouble. He's got the one eyebrow raise and the smirk down.

New Tricks

Daniel's newest trick is raising himself up onto his elbows. He is also reaching forward looking like he wants to crawl. I think we still have a little work to do before that happens though.

He took a break from rolling over for a few weeks, but now he's back to it again. The doctor says he should spend 20-30 minutes a day on his tummy, but this morning, he just keeps flipping to his back.

Crusty

Daniel has had a clogged tear duct. This causes his right eye to be crusty much of the time as his tears don't drain. Sometimes when he wakes up from a nap, his little eye gets glued shut. I think it's the most hilarious thing. Don't worry, it only takes a minute before he can open both eyes and he fusses more if I try to fix it for him. Two days ago, he stopped having this problem, so our little guy now has a clean face.

First Run

This morning, Daniel and I went on our first jog together since he's been on the outside. He really enjoyed it. Well, he was asleep within 30 seconds and woke up 2 minutes after we finished, but he looked cozy.
Please leave us comments when you visit our blog, we love hearing from you.

At 12 weeks, Daniel's hair is getting lighter. He smiles and talks alot, his own beautiful language. He sometimes sucks his thumb or fingers, but not regularly. He's very active with his hands and feet but hasn't really discovered that he can control them yet.

Canadian Visitors

My good friend, Sheryl came down from Vancouver to meet Daniel and hang out for a few days. We had a great time with her, she sang lots of great songs to Daniel and we visited the Conannon Winery and Half Moon Bay.
