Mother's Day Tea

Daniel's preschool teachers and the students put on a lovely Mother's Day Tea on Thursday. When it was time to begin, Daniel came outside the class where all of us mother's waited, he took me by the hand and led me to our seats where the cute little name tags were. We sat down and he waited patiently with his hands in his lap telling me we have to wait for everyone to sit down before we can eat. This was followed by the kids serving us our tea or lemonade. There was only one spill during this brave commotion that I know of.

Daniel gave me a special gift; a canvas bag with a drawing of him and me on it. There was also a card with his hand print on it and a poem inside which totally made me cry. He was such a sweet little gentleman. At the end, all the kids sang a couple songs that they had been practicing for months and months. I was impressed with Daniel's ability to keep a secret in all this. He told me a couple times that he made me a present, but it was a secret. So cute. He was so proud.

Miss Sharon and Miss Grace have been wonderful teachers this year. We are thankful for all of their hard work and look forward to having them as Vincent's teachers next year.
