For Father's Day, we took a last minute, one-night camping trip nearby. It was sunny and hot at Carnegie, the only place we could find with open spots to stay. We watched lots of dad's with their little kids riding by on their motorcycles. I think everyone got a little inspired for a new hobby.

Watching the kids ride on the dirt track was entertaining. Daniel was really itching to go ride too.
It was plenty hot for water guns. No one minded too much getting squirt. Uncle Ryan brought out the big gun.
After we left Carnegie, we went to Del Valle for some water play. We were trying to surprise Megan and Brian, but they had already ditched their camping spot for the A's game. Even though it was super crowded at the lake, we found our own little spot down by the river. It was 6 inches deep all the way across and perfect for skipping rocks, dipping our toes in and looking for tadpoles.
