Daniel was so excited for his 6th birthday. He made signs and hung them around the house announcing how many days left until his birthday.
He got a cape, so now he's really a knight in shining armor. This goes well with his new cowboy boots.
Gavin was pretty stocked on the Opitmus Prime that Daniel got for his birthday. He slept with it for several days.
Daniel took a lot of time and care decorating each cupcake. They were full of love...and sprinkles.
Everyone had fun with the new presents. A couple years ago, after the birthday boy would start getting really upset at gift opening time because he couldn't play with the toy, but instead move on to the next gift, we just started opening presents as family members walk through the door to celebrate. I really hope no one minds our lack of etiquette in this area. But it really is fun watching them open and then get excited to play with each gift before moving on to the next.
