For the first time ever, all of us sisters, together with our mother, spent a day together. We had a good time together, visiting my Grandma and Grandpa's grave at the top of a hill that looks down on the ocean. From there we went to Half Moon Bay to enjoy some yummy seafood for lunch. I'm lucky to have these amazing women in my life.

Daniel felt a lot of pressure writing the first entry in his homework journal to begin his first grade year. He ended up writing the entry in a practice journal before making it official. I love that he's journaling now. Lots of writing in first grade.
