First visit to Disneyland, exploding with excitement
Our first day at Disneyland started at Toon Town an hour before it opened to the commoners. We got to meet Mickey and Minnie, tour their homes and ride the little roller coaster without any crowds and with all 25 of us. It was a fun way to start our time in the parks, especially because the kids were so overwhelmed with being there. Gavin hid in the stroller with the shade pulled down to stay in his own private space for the first half hour.
Grandma made matching Mickey shirts for all 10 grandkids
Our youngest goofball is living up to the reputation of the youngest sibling here
It was an amazing feat getting all 25 of us together, healthy and happy. Mom gave us a wonderful gift, taking us all to Disneyland for her birthday. It was the first time our boys had been there and Daniel said it was the best two days of his entire life.
The roller coaster behind us in this photo is called "California Screamin". Daniel barely made the 48" height requirement. He rode it 3 times and wanted more. He also loved the Tower of Terror. Gavin just barely made the 40" height requirement to ride every other ride in the two parks, when he was brave enough. Vincent had a blast dancing at the Mad T Party Saturday night.
