Soccer Practice

How do we keep our windows clean?...
We don't!

One of Daniel's favorite activities of late is washing his hands and the dishes in the kitchen sink. We encourage this and hope it will blossom into something helpful one day.

We're trying to teach Vincent a couple words in sign language for the high chair (since he keeps yelling when he wants more food). "more" is the first word, and he looks like he's trying. Instead of bringing his fingertips together, he does a kind of wave with one hand, but it looks like an attempt.

George and Daniel have been playing tiny tot soccer on Saturdays. It's very cute, but Daniel is really not that into it. He's good at kicking the ball and can dribble really well, but he's not really interested. Vincent, on the other hand, kept crawling right into the middle of all the action. He loves it and wasn't at all afraid of all the large people running around him.

When George gets home from work, Daniel sometimes greets him "hi, Honey"
When asked to throw something away he replies "yes I do!"
Today he informed me when I walked in from the backyard "Becky, I hurt my brother, my mincent"
The question most often asked is "where's mel mel? where's Carrie? where's Auntie Tracy? and so on. The "why's" have not yet begun. It's all about the "where"
After the illness from last week, we tried to get Daniel to make up for some of the food he wasn't eating for days. He's already skinny, and he lost 2 lbs last week. So after dinner, we tried giving him chocolate pudding. He decided he didn't like it by looking at it (which is how it usually goes) so George tried to get some in his mouth. It was all over his face by the time he finally licked his lips and got a small taste. No more convincing was needed.

We are in the same boat. Our windows, glass doors and mirrors are never clean. Well maybe for a couple seconds every week. They say to enjoy this time because we will remember back to those dirty windows and wish they weren't so clean.
Soccer looks fun. Tim wants to get K into it. We need to first work on her not falling down so much!! HA!

They are getting sssooo big-Soccer already huh? Darian started dance classes a couple weeks back as well. I thought that same thing about the glass today as I was cleaning the glass table Darian was rubbing her hands all over it following the same motion I was doing wiping it.
