It was a busy weekend this weekend. We had dinner guests, a birthday party, church, a baby shower...scratch. Well we went to the birthday party to share the love and some of our germs. After Vincent over-heated on Friday from riding around the neighborhood on his razor, he didn't quite get back to his normal self. Saturday night was a sleepless night in our house. Vincent kept waking up, unable to get enough air through his poor constricted lungs. Gavin threw up once or twice. Fevers, sickness, calls to the doctor at midnight. You know, your typical Saturday night, living it up with three little kids.
So when Vincent's lungs didn't sound any better with the rising of the sun, we headed off to the E.R. Vincent and mommy spent the whole day Sunday there getting vapor treatments, steroid treatments, observations and cool mist. Fortunately, we both got a nap. Vincent is feeling and sounding quite a bit better now. Once again, he was a trooper at the hospital although he was a little wiser about what he was in for, he didn't look excited about being there, but he was cooperative. We read "Curious George goes to the Hospital" and Vincent did a lot of what Curious George did in the book, including a chest x-ray. He LOVES reading books.
We hurried home to Gavin who had a 103 degree fever and has been throwing up since Saturday night. Poor babies. They're all sleeping peacefully at the moment. Daniel is healthy so far, George has had a bug for several days now. It might be a long week.
