Vincent graduated from Dr. Wesman's office visits today. It's been 14 months since his week at Children's Hospital with mastoiditis. We've gone back to visit Dr. Wesman every few months to see how his ears were doing and to check on the tubes that were placed there. The tubes were removed today, his ears look great and he was a champ for the extensive hearing test they performed on him. It's pretty cool how they can test hearing on a three year old like that.
The audiologist had him doing lots of different things like throwing fish and dinosaurs into a basket when he heard the beep, to feeding a hippo, to pointing to the picture when she said each word. We sat in a sound proof booth which was weird. It felt like all the sound was being sucked out of the air. I guess we don't ever really hear silence.Vincent has been VERY hesitant to go into Dr. Wesman's office the last few times, but he did fantastic this time thankfully and they said he was "Exceptional", especially for a young 3 year old. I'm so proud of him. His shirt is covered with all the stickers he won during his test. We loved our Doctors and are so grateful for all their expertise and wonderful care.

Yeah so happy for the good report! It's amazing all the things Dr.'s can do to check out the kids - glad to hear everything looks great! Way to go Vincent! :)
