Last weekend, the whole D side of the family went up to Rollins Lake for our 2nd annual family camping trip. We had two sites right next to each other, right on the water. Weather was perfect, water was perfect and we had a great time relaxing (okay, vacations will not be relaxing for a few more years) but it was a nice change of pace.
Paul and Tracy have been working on renovating this awesome Airstream for the past several months. It was our little hotel and so nice. The boys were loving the smores each night. They were so tired that in all the photos of them by the campfire, their eyes are only half open.

We rented a boat to go wakeboarding with. George was so excited to wakeboard all weekend...until he sprained his ankle on the first run and got sidelined for the weekend, relegated to driving the boat.

These two are such good buddies. It's so fun watching them play together. They were giving each other high fives and hugs all weekend.

Vincent was a little shy when it came to the water, preferring not to go deeper than 8 inches most of the time. He got braver as the weekend wore on.
Daniel loved the water again this year and spent a good deal of time swimming out into deeper water.
"This is our boat." he says... A sweet 1984 blast from the past. Remember those water ski shows at Marine world back in the 80's? This was the boat.
