This was a first for our family...being in a "studio". The boys were great even though it was an hour into their nap time. Gavin crawled right to the photographer every time I sat him down. I was so sweaty by the end of our 10 minute session from wrestling him back with his brothers. He's surfing in the first picture. Whatever the photographer told Daniel to do, Vincent did immediately (never mind that she wanted Vincent to do something different. He wanted to do just what his big brother was doing. Daniel was hamming it up the whole time.
As we were walking into church last week, we noticed both boy's jeans were about 2 inches too short. So they both moved up a size. I guess that happens over the summer when everyone's in shorts everyday. Even if they do get pants on, they usually don't wear shoes, so the length shortage goes unnoticed. So now we've got to collect a 4T wardrobe collection.
Gavin had his 9 month check-up last week. He weighed in at 17lb, 6oz which we're told is 7th percentile. He's more active than the average 9 month old I guess, but we've been trying to stuff him full of protein all week. He's eating great, and finally decided to start eating baby food and not just self feed finger foods. He doesn't look scrauny, so we're a bit surprised that he's so low on the charts. We'll go back for another weigh-in in a few weeks to make sure he's gaining since he dropped weight since the last time he got weighed in the beginning of August.

man the were cooperative! still can't believe how smiley gav was for all of them. turned out so cute! I think my favorite is them all laying on the ground.
